"Smoke curls to meet hushed night from embers of long campfires now extinguished within rusted walls of past memory, open to the sky. Silhouettes slipping through slender paths now painted by celestial illumination not of this earth, not of this flesh, write for us a new passage in time."

A tale of longing, late night paranoia, and lights in the sky, "X Becoming / X Became" is the very first musical item created and released by A Virtual Memory. Conceived from February to April of 2017, it represents a complete re-imagining of Sneaker Pimp’s 1996 LP “Becoming X”.

Made in Audacity, each song is reconstructed solely from elements found in its original counterpart with absolutely no added external features of any kind.
