about

“In the early afternoon of Friday, June 9th, 1995, three young hikers were exploring the woods around the Patuxent Wildlife Research Refuge in Laurel, Maryland. Thomas Somerset, the eldest of the group, had told his wife, Marianne Somerset, to expect him home by around 7:00 pm that evening. Neither he nor his friends returned that night…” What mysterious tragedy befell those hikers on that hot, sunny summer afternoon in Prince George’s County? What secrets does the severely damaged tape from Mr. Somerset’s camcorder [found miles from where the group claimed to be headed] hold? Who inexplicably leaked the video’s contents onto the internet a year after the hikers’ disappearance?

This release is a companion piece to the upcoming compilation “Non-Item 02: The Burning Giraffe”, a collection of various assorted works 2018-2020, inspired by and dedicated to the life and memory of Salvador Dali, 1904-1989.

All proceeds from the sale of this release will be donated to the Trans Women of Color Collective [TWOCC], which seeks to “uplift the narratives, lived experiences and leadership of trans and gender non-conforming people of color, [their] families and comrades as we build towards collective liberation for all oppressed people."
